Many fans were still in Washington Grizzly Stadium after the game, celebrating an amazing victory. The improbable come from behind 21-14 overtime win earned Griz senior linebacker Brock Coyle Big Sky Conference Defensive Player of the Week. The 6-2, 245-pound senior from Bozeman had 15 tackles and the game-clinching interception in the overtime win over Cal Poly. Coyle had two tackles for loss and helped the Grizzly defense keep the Mustangs out of the end zone in the second half and in overtime. This is Brock's second career player of the week honor. A little unclear how the Griz moved down one spot in the weekly coaches' poll rankings from ninth to tenth and remained tenth in the media poll, but the thrill---and we do mean thrill---of victory Saturday far outweighs the weekly ratings game. Another monster home game coming up Saturday vs. Eastern Washington!
