Sure, they won, but I have to believe they're "kicking" themselves. In what could only be described as a special teams nightmare, the Montana Grizzly defense picked up the slack and kept the South Dakota Coyotes at bay for the better part of the game, giving up a touchdown late in the game to make the final 28-20 in front of a record crowd of 26,303 at Washington Grizzly Stadium for the Night Out White Out Game. Griz kickers missed (badly) three field goals, and the only thing that made Montana's punting game look okay was South Dakota's horrible performance in that category. That will have to improve and soon. It's on the big boys in Fargo next week. Good game, guys and GO GRIZ!
