University of Montana linebacker Jordan Tripp of Missoula continues to receive post-season attention. He was recently invited to participate in the 65th annual Reese's Senior Bowl, January 25th in Mobile, Alabama. Jordan is only the second player in school history to be invited to this prestigious game. Current Griz assistant coach Scott Gragg played in that game in 1995. Last week, Tripp accepted an offer to play in the 88th annual East-West Shrine Game in St. Petersburg, Florida. That game is January 18th, so Jordan has a very busy start to 2014. And it could all be an integral part to his football future, as lots of NFL scouts will be in attendance at those games. Congrats to Jordan and best of luck. Also thanks to UM Sports Information Director Dave Guffey for the story. DB
