Griz, Lady Griz Players Honored

The Big Sky Conference announced their Players of the Week Monday, and it's a Montana double-play! Our congratulations to junior guard/forward Kareem Jamar (pictured) and senior forward Katie Baker. They were named for their outstanding performances Thursday and Saturday of last week. In road wins over North Dakota and Northern Colorado, Kareem scored 37 points, had 10 rebounds, 10 assists and four steals as the Griz remained undefeated in conference play. And in lopsided home wins over North Dakota and Northern Colorado, Kaite piled up 35 points and 14 rebounds. Congratulations to a couple of great players and delightful people. Big week for the teams on tap. The Bobcats come to town Saturday (Lady Griz vs. MSU at 3pm, Griz vs. MSU at 7pm). And the guys have a game Thursday night vs. Southern Utah, too. Go Griz!  DB
