This was a rematch that in absolutely no way resembled the first meeting in August. The North Dakota State Bison put a major whooping on a Montana Grizzly football team that saw its season end in humbling fashion.

NDSU returned two interceptions for touchdowns, returned a kickoff over 100 yards, piled up huge yardage with their running game and pummeled the Griz 37-6 in the second round of the Football Championship Subdivision college football playoffs. Not only did North Dakota State avenge the 38-35 loss to Montana in the season opener way back in August, they continue their roll toward an amazing fifth consecutive national championship, hosting another playoff game next weekend.

For Montana, a stunning, demoralizing way to end the season. The Griz finish the year putting only six points on the board in their last game and a half.

But: WE ARE MONTANA! Lots to build on as the team finishes the season 8-5. Already looking forward to September 2016!!!! Stay proud, Griz Nation. Great things will be coming our way.       DB
