The Montana Grizzlies jumped UC Davis early and were never really challenged. In a total team effort the Griz took care of the Aggies 42-7 Saturday in a Big Sky Conference Football road win in Davis, Calif. Quarterback Jordan Johnson threw two touchdown passes to Ellis Henderson, running back Travon Van broke a 30-yard run for a score and running back Jordan Canada had touchdown runs of about six inches and then a 24-yarder that probably ended up being a 50-yarder after he reversed field, went all the way across then down the sideline. To add to the whole feel-good evening, losses by two FCS teams ranked in the Top 5 (Towson, Northern Iowa) will likely mean the Griz will move up in the polls. Great win, guys. See you next Saturday at Washington Grizzly Stadium vs. Cal Poly. DB
