Grief Gardening Was So Great Last Night

"There are always flowers for those who want to see them."  Healing after a loss is hard, lucky we have resources like this. 

Healing with nature is a great way to try to cope with a loss. We shared stories about our loss, reflected and played with dirt. It was so nice and kind of Partners in Hospice and the nurseries that donated to this cause.

In particular Marchie's nursery was very special to me. I had helped pick up flowers for this event but wasn't able to go to Marchie's. Well low and behold they had given the lady who did, perennial lilies for me which were my grandma's favorite. Normally they just donate annuals that they would compost anyways. Meant the world to me. I also scored polka dot gloves!
