Government Gets Racy With Free Party Line

Oh....my! I'll bet this kept the media busy and entertained for a short period of time.It's pretty hard to ignore "free and fun."

With a name like the Massachusetts Department of Administration and Finance, a pretty straight-laced, serious, dare we say stuffy, branch of government comes to mind. Do they still wear powdered wigs?

Anyway, the department issued a press release, giving out a phone number for any  inquiries. But an incorrect area code sent those with inquiries to a "free and fun party line" that advertised adult hotlines. The typo was quickly corrected, with a department chief of staff pointing out that "nothing is free and fun in the Executive Office for Administration and Finance." Well, excuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuussssse me!

Oh, the press release was sent out as part of the department's campaign for October being Cyber Security Awareness Month. I'm sure if you call the number, Passion or Tigress can tell you more in a sultry voice.  DB
