Gone With the Wind Gone No More

Frankly, Spokane, they do give a damn! Must have been a pretty exciting day for the library folks. Associated Press reports that a 1946 copy of "Gone With the Wind" has been returned to the Rogers High School library in Spokane. The school's principal says she was contacted by someone who found the book in the cellar of a New England house! Yeah, who knows how it got there? But the finder of the book was happy to return it to Rogers High...as long as he didn't have to pay the $470 late fee. Yep, that was waived.
