Get Away from the Smoke

One of Missoula’s favorite bands is back at it. Mission Mountain Wood Band is playing a Get Away from the Smoke gig over in Choteau. It’s that town’s 100^th anniversary and they’re putting on a party. They do it right. I partied over there when Willie was in town.

Choteau has a nice campground right in town with lots of spaces. There’s also a KOA just outside of town next to the golf course. The fairgrounds are within walking distance of downtown and the city campground. There’s also some good watering holes and places to eat. The scenery is tough beat since the town is situated right on the Rocky Mountain Front. Oh I could go on and on but you get the idea. This would be a fun trip.
