Forget helping your friend get his car out of a snowbank. This plane needs a push, dude! So that's what passengers eager to leave the Arctic did. Eager to leave the Arctic...huh, go figure. And Associated Press tells us there may be some consequences. Passengers came out of their plane in the Arctic town of Ingarka to help push it onto the runway after its brakes froze up. The passengers, said to be mostly oil workers, wanted to fly to Krasnoyarek 800 miles away. They leaned on the wings and pushed until the plane eventually moved.

Russian authorities are investigating possible breaches of safety regulations. And all bags of peanuts privileges have been revoked! DB
