Food Drive To Can The Cats

A food drive pitting Griz fans against Cat fans wraps up at noon this Saturday, just before the Kickoff of the Brawl of The Wild. For 11 years straight Cat fans have collected more food for the needy than Griz fans.  The goal is 40-thousand pounds of food that will be given to The Missoula Food Bank. Karl Tyler Chevrolet is the major sponsor of this food drive and donations can be dropped off at the dealership on N Reserve St. also at the Albertsons stores around town, at the Source in the University Center on campus, at Papa John’s, the YMCA, the Pressbox, Paradise Falls, the Orange Street Food Farm and at the Missoula Food Bank on S. 3^rd. It was close last year, MSU gathered 27,932 pounds of food and U-M tallied 27,292.
