Flying Marijuana Scares Homeowner

It was a gift from high above, you might say.  But it wasn't Santa and his reindeer that caused such a clatter. And it wasn't a gift, either. It sure gave Maya Donnelly a start, though!

Maya was sound asleep in the middle of the night in her home near the U.S.-Mexican border, when she heard what "sounded like thunder." Thinking it was a storm, she went back to sleep, but when she got up in the morning, she found a bulky package of pot. It was all bundled up, wrapped in black plastic and placed in a wooden box.

No word on whether somebody gave it a mighty heave, if it fell from a small  plane, quickie delivery to the wrong house or what. But Maya was happy to be rid of it.     DB
