Five Halloween Favorite Movies

What are your favorite movies to watch around Halloween? Everyone has a list from classics to contemporary. I always enjoyed Disney’s interpretation of the Legend of Sleepy Hollow until the version with Johnny Depp playing Ichabod Crane came and made a cute animation movie into a suspenseful thriller. Then along came The Brothers Grimm which turned a children’s fairy tale into a movie about a couple of frauds who get too deep into their trade. No Country for Old Men is chilling from the very opening scene. Two of my choices from a ways back would be Hush, Hush, Sweet Charlotte and The Haunting. So there you have it. Pop some corn, get whatever you like to drink, sit down but don’t relax, one of these movies should scare you one way or the other. Oh and make sure you turn out the lights. All of them!
