Great news for all the fellow fishers out there. The restrictions are lifted for western Montana's fishing enthusiast's. No fishing was allowed on some of the best areas of western Montana from 2pm till midnight, all under "hoot owl" restrictions. The Bitterroot, the entire main stem of the Blackfoot and the Clark Fork downstream of the Rock Creek confluence.

There is slim chance of this happening again this summer, thankfully officials say the water temperatures are holding below 70 degrees.
