First Ski Trip of the Season to Lookout Pass

A lot of folks are hitting the slopes and we are getting a bit of snow so the time isn't bad to get in some turns. Plus we do have families and visitors taking in ski destinations for Christmas.

I went to Lookout Pass Ski area, which is half in Idaho and half in Montana. After a small speed-bump I was in my demo skis and we were off. The folks there are really nice and accommodating and I recommend it.

It felt great to get back on skis and it is a great work out. There have been some really cold temps in our area and around us so sometimes going up a mountain on a chair lift is a frigid thought. It was about 10 degrees actually when we went skiing so not so bad. If it gets too cold they won't run some of the chair lifts.

Can't wait to get back out on the slopes!
