The National Weather Service has posted a Fire Weather Watch for areas of northwest and western Montana Saturday. The Fire Weather Watch will be in place from 12:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. this Saturday, July 27. The forecast calls for gusty winds and low humidity across the region. West winds 15-20 MPH and less than 15 percent humidity are predicted. A Fire Weather Watch means that critical fire weather conditions are forecast to occur. You are advised to listen for updated forecasts and possible red flag warnings. Yep, I would say we are at a critical stage and now that we know the fire near Superior was human-caused, we all need to take every precaution and avoid taking stupid pills for the duration of the summer.
