Finally, A Real Winter

Winter on Mt. Sentinel
The fog freezes on the pine trees on a cold morning on top of Mt. Sentinel

It seems like a long time since we had a real “White Christmas” in our part of Western Montana.  Despite the air stagnation warnings from the National Weather Service and the icy side streets it’s really nice that Christmas actually looks like, well, Christmas this year.Travel shouldn’t be too bad for the remainder of the holiday.  It looks like we’ll have sunny skies Christmas Day.  Sunday the National Weather Service tells us snow will be moving in.  But, it should be later in the day.

So, if you have to travel, you might want to make an early start of it Monday morning.
