Eight Year Old Snacker Gets Lifetime NRA Membership

Josh Welch was suspended from his elementary school in Maryland earlier this year. Eight-year-old Josh was snacking on a Pop Tart and allegedly munched it into the shape of a handgun. A Maryland state legislator has since paid the $550 to buy Josh a junior lifetime membership in the NRA. Josh's lawyer, who is appealing the two-day suspension, made the comment that the states of Florida and Idaho are shaped more like a handgun than Josh's Pop Tart.
