If your kids are like mine then they are tired of eating cold cereal and toasted waffles for breakfast every morning. Between me trying to get ready for work and the youngest ready for daycare, I just don’t have a ton of time in the morning to make my kids a homemade breakfast.

I suppose I could get up an hour early to accomplish this, but I enjoy keeping what little sleep that I get. I just don’t want to give up that extra hour. However, when I ran across this recipe, I was surprised how easy and how fast it was. It’s also full of things my kids would love to eat for breakfast at least a day or two a week.

I would cook the eggs the night before, so as to save time in the morning, then all I would need to do is throw everything together and roll it up. If I did this when I first got up, these crescents would be done by the time I was out of the shower and dressed. Then my boys and I could enjoy a nice hot, hearty breakfast together.

Give it a try and see if it works for your family too.

Easy Breakfast Sausage, Egg and Cheese Crescents

1 can Pillsbury Crescents

8 slices of cheese

8 precooked sausage links

8 cooked eggs

Open crescent tube can and unroll crescents onto a baking sheet. Place a cheese slice on each crescent and then place an egg on top of each slice of cheese. Then place a sausage link in the middle of each egg. Roll the whole thing up like a crescent roll. Bake in the oven at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
