An early morning electrical fire at a modular home in Lolo sent crews from Missoula Rural and Missoula City fire departments to Lakeside Drive, where they found smoke coming from under the manufactured home.

According to engineer Marty Lanier with Missoula Rural Fire, the call came in at about 3 a.m. on Friday, November 8.

Lanier said firefighters had to rip away skirting from around the home to get at the blaze, but crews were able to get the fire under control quickly. There was no word as of 5 a.m. if there were any injuries, and the fire is still under investigation.
