Dustin Lynch, LoCash Cowboys + More Kick Off Headwaters Country Jam 2014
Headwaters Country Jam 2014 officially kicked off last night (June 26th) including a rowdy performance by the LoCash Cowboys and an incredibly crowd engaging set by country music heartthrob Dustin Lynch.
Opening acts, The High Rollers and Rachel Lipsky, helped to get the crowd going for what would be a great night of country music. A bit of rain early on in the day didn't stop fans from coming out of the woodwork to party and have a great time, and party they did!
The LoCash cowboys are know for the incredible energy that they consistently bring to every live performance, and they did not disappoint last night. Many thanks in part to their hit single C.O.U.N.T.R.Y. that is a natural party starter for country music fans. Many attended the festival just to see the LoCash Cowboys and it's easy to see why. We're pretty sure they left Montana with a few new fans!
Headliner Dustin Lynch finished out the night with a show that had Headwaters Country Jam fans singing at the top of their lungs like we have never seen before. Not only did Lynch's set include his own hits like 'Cowboys and Angels' and 'She Cranks My Tractor,' but also variety of cover songs. From country music classics like 'Wagon Wheel' to Garth Brooks' 'Friends in Low Places' and even a little 'Cupid Shuffle' mixed into the set, Dustin Lynch's performance offered a little something for everyone. Headwaters Country Jam was his first experience performing in Montana and he showed his fans in the state great gratitude for their support over the years.
Best of all there is still two full days of country music to come featuring performances by Chase Rice, Big & Rich, Sammy Kershaw and Montgomery Gentry. Here is a look at some of the best pictures from last night's performances as Headwaters Country Jam rolled into high gear.
