In the interest of full disclosure: this is an out-of-Missoula-County event. But why not multi-task?

If you don't already live in Sanders County,  just load up the car with Saturday road trip essentials.

Then you toss in those 3 old cell phones in the drawer, the big boxy TV you tossed in the attic when you got the flat screen, the VCR in the garage, etc., and make your way to the E-Waste Event in Thompson Falls.

What is E-Waste? Any used electronics. Computers, printers, fax machines, telephones, cell phones, clocks, toasters, TVs, stereos, VCRs, video cameras and more. The event is free and sponsored by MT DEQ and Sanders County. There will be a recycling specialist on hand and the vendor will be Opportunity E-Cycling from Missoula.

All E-Wasters are welcome Saturday, June 25, 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m., at the Thompson Falls Transfer Site, 269 Airport Road. And they're happy to answer your questions at 406-827-6942.

And NO! Old radio announcers do not count as E-Waste, so don't even try!
