University of Montana football season ticket holders your  “early bird” savings package ends on Monday, April 2 at 4:30 p.m.  The “early bird” ticket price is $227, which is a discount of $25, or approximately 10 percent.  After that discount deadline ends, season tickets are priced at $252.  Ticket holders who have not paid for the 2012 season by May 1 at 4:30 p.m. will lose their season tickets. The University of Montana ticket office mailed out invoices to season ticket holders Jan. 26-27 for the 2012 football season. The 2012 home football schedule features six home games, including four Big Sky Conference foes, along with two Football Championship Subdivision squads who were nationally ranked last season. Montana opens the 2012 season at home on Sept. 1 and welcomes back former mentor Joe Glenn and his South Dakota Coyotes team.   After playing FCS powerhouse Appalachian State (Sept. 8), UM plays its second home game on Sept. 15, hosting the Liberty Flames. Montana’s third home game in four weeks and its Big Sky opener is on Sept. 22 against the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks in its annual Homecoming contest. The Griz have three other conference home games, beginning with a new league member Southern Utah (Oct. 13), followed by an Oct. 27th contest against Idaho State, and the regular-season finale on Nov. 17 in the 112th Griz-Cat contest.
