Don’t Hate, Donate His or Her Clothes for Valentine’s

Breakups are never easy. But maybe getting rid of some of your ex's items might be therapeutic. That's the approach some Goodwill Industries stores are taking for Valentine's Day.

Several stores are promoting an anti-Valentine's Day antidote, asking people to donate their ex's stuff, using the slogan, "Don't Hate, Donate."  Sure, they're having a little fun at the expense of Valentine's Day, and they acknowledge that breakups are difficult. But it's also important to get rid of things from the past that may be haunting your present.

So, shop Goodwill this weekend. And if you see one of your old sweaters there, well, maybe this will explain why.
