It must be like a rather unique flea market. And if you don't get there when they first open, you might miss out. And you wouldn't want to miss a chance to buy pink hammers, snow globes and somebody's luggage!

Associated Press tells us that's how the system works in Concord, New Hampshire. Their State Surplus Division has contracts with airports in Boston, Connecticut, New Hampshire and Rhode Island to pick up unclaimed items. And yes, those listed above are some of the intriguing examples.

Now, the warehouse is only open on Mondays. And the manager says people are lined up waiting to get in. Not surprised. Everybody loves a bargain and like Forrest Gump says, "You never know what you're gonna get."   DB
