Should police officers be able to suspend your license for 30 days, if they see you distracted behind the wheel? That is exactly what happened to a man from Melbourne, Australia. In fact he was arrested for driving with his knees, he was caught eating and driving. The exact food that he was enjoying was a McFlurry.

The police released a statement saying: “Police were traveling alongside a Toyota Corolla on the Princes Freeway when they saw the male driver eating an ice cream with two hands about 4pm”

Eating and driving could cost you 30 days without your license, that seems harsh to me. Although I do understand that the police officers were just looking out for the safety of the other drivers on the road. What do you think? Is the punishment too harsh?
