Does Missoula Need A No Outdoor Couch Law?
I think the best viewing area for these is the university district, but you may know other choice locales. And while I think it's kind of tacky, I don't know that a law against it is necessary. Not so in St. Cloud, Minn. According to Associated Press, the city council has voted to ban outdoor upholstered furniture. The ban doesn't apply to couches and the like that are not visible from the street. Violators first get a warning. Second offense is a $100 fine. Which is $100 more than they paid for that couch out on the porch. DB
