If you're looking for ways to protest your taxes this year, you might want to (chicken) scratch this one off your list. It was definitely an un-clucky day for this dude and his methods.

Associated Press reports to us from Eugene, Oregon, that Louis Adler left a bunch of chickens inside the state revenue office as a tax protest. Of course that took up taxpayer dollars, as police and an animal welfare officer had to round them up. Thanks, Louis.

The chickens were unharmed and taken to a shelter. Mr. Adler was given a trespass notice, which means he either stays away or risks a citation. Some people are just all flocked up.   DB
