According to a new study, having creative hobbies outside of work can boost your performance at the office.
Researchers from San Francisco State University found that employees who participate in a creative activity – no matter what it is – have improved problem-solving skills and are more likely to lend a helping hand to co-workers.
The participants in the study were able to choose any creative activities they wanted, including everything from writing short stories, to painting, to playing video games. (NY Daily News)
