No hanging chads, no same-day, last-minute voter registration to tip things one way or the other. Just call it in the air! In a small town in Peru, the two mayoral candidates each received 236 votes. So, Peru's electoral law allows political races that are tied to be settled by the toss of a coin. Congratulations to Wilber Medina. His opponent says he's cool with the results. Guess it's a heck of a lot cheaper than a run-off.  DB
