Did Any of You Lose Some Gold Bars and Bank Notes?

How or why do you leave behind something like gold bars? Left behind at a train station, that is!Associated Press tells us this happened in Germany. Authorities are searching for the person who left a stash of gold bars and a pile of bank notes in a Cologne railway station. We're talking several pounds of gold and a six-figure sum of euros in cash! It was actually abandoned quite some time ago, but police withheld notification until they felt they could clear the stash of any connection to a crime. So, before it is sold the rightful owner must come forward and prove it belongs to them. So far only eleventy-jillion Germans have done so.  DB
