Diapers Doing Additional Dirty Work
It's "bottoms up" to celebrate some new technology involving diapers at MIT. Scientists at Massachusetts Institute of Technology were looking for new ways to get super-high resolution images on lab microscopes and they found it in the form of the stuff that makes disposable diapers so absorbent. A chemical similar to the diaper ingredient makes specimens swell, and that leads to a better image. Details are in the magazine Science. And I assume in Huggies Monthly, too.
