I am a big Nutella fan. It is just the right mix of hazelnut and chocolate in a delicious creamy spread. My kids love to eat it on plain bread or with jam. It’s a great substitute for peanut butter. I like to use it instead of peanut butter in recipes. Just make sure that the recipe you’re using it in calls for creamy peanut butter and not crunchy.

I am also a big fan of cheesecake. Isn’t everyone? This recipe is just another way to make a delicious cheesecake, with a little twist. Not only are these cheesecake bars sure to satisfy, but they are also easy to make. If you’re a Nutella lover like me, you won’t be disappointed, so give them a try.

Delicious Nutella Cheesecake Bar

1 1/2 cups of graham cracker crumbs

1/4 cup of all-purpose flour

1/4 cup of dark brown sugar

1/2 cup of butter, melted

2 (8 ounce) packages of cream cheese, softened

3/4 cup of sugar

2 large eggs

2 teaspoons of vanilla

6 tablespoons of Nutella

Throw graham cracker crumbs, flour, brown sugar and butter into a bowl and stir with a fork until well combined. Dump into a greased 9x13 inch baking pan, and then firmly press onto the bottom of the pan, so the bottom is evenly covered. Bake for 10 minutes at 350 degrees. Remove from oven and let cool just a little bit.

While the crust is baking and cooling, throw the cream cheese and sugar into a mixing bowl and beat together until smooth. Add the vanilla and eggs and beat again until well combined. Once combined, pour this mixture over the crust, and then spread it out evenly. Take spoonfulls of Nutella and drop them in random spots on top of the cream cheese mixture. Use a knife to make swirls.

Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes. Let the bars cool for about an hour and then refrigerate until cold before eating.
