Darby School Earliest to Start

An early start means students will finish a full semester and take their semester tests before Christmas in Darby.

Darby Public School is the first in the Bitterroot to begin classes. As kids get started at school in Darby, their jitters almost gone, some are still just preparing for the first day. Other valley schools and Missoula either start this Wednesday or on Sept. 8.

According to NBC Montana, Darby's K-12 welcomed 32 new students to the district. It expects a total enrollment of about 340 students.
