Hey, everyone, time to "chop" to it and head for Darby Logger Days Friday and Saturday (July 18-19). Good times get underway Friday at 5:00. It's a weekend of sawing contests and demonstrations, Ma-and-Pa relay race, logger competitions and relays, Saturday parade at 9:00 a.m., lots of live music and more! In all, 17 traditional logging competitions have been scheduled, including axe throwing, pole climbing, log roll and cross-cut sawing. Friday dance to Northern Lights. Saturday Hired Hand and the Copper Mountain Band perform. There's also plenty of fun activities for the little ones so they'd love to see you bring the kids. Entry fee is $15 for the weekend, or $5 after 8:00 p.m on Friday for the band, $5 after 6:00 on Saturday. Kids 12 and under no charge when accompanied by an adult.
