Danica Doesn’t Deserve This

If there’s any new driver in NASCAR that I really like it’s Danica Patrick.  She’s competitive, well spoken, and capable.  Last season was her first year fulltime on the circuit. There aren’t a lot of drivers who in their first year set the track on fire. They take it on as a learning process and do the best they can. That’s why I was a little taken aback by the comments of Richard Petty. He was quoted as saying that, the only way Danica Patrick could win a race would be “if everyone else stayed home.” Really Richard, I would’ve expected more from the King.  Danica handled the comment with class, “everyone’s entitled to their own opinion. People are going to judge what he said, whether they judge  it well or not and I’m just not going to.’ I wish Danica good luck this season and I’ll be rooting for her along with my other favorite Dale Jr.
