Dangerous Stretch of the Bitterroot to Open Monday

A section of the Bitterroot River that closed in April will re-open July 7th. 

The section of the Bitterroot River that was closed in April due to safety concerns is around an irrigation ditch but will re-open on Monday. A number of new signs will be posted warning boaters of the dangers in that area.

Again mother nature is never forgiving and water especially so please practice extra caution this summer if on the water for any reason.
