One of my boys is obsessed with spaghetti. He can’t get enough of it. So, in my house, I make spaghetti once a week. I also make my own sauce, so this can be a bit time consuming. I got tired of getting home after work and trying to make spaghetti and get it done before bedtime. So, I came up with a crockpot recipe for spaghetti sauce.

Easy Crockpot Spaghetti Sauce

1 pound ground beef

1/2 onion chopped

2 garlic cloves mashed

1 can stewed tomatoes or tomato chunks

2 cans tomato sauce

2-3 tablespoons Italian seasoning

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1 package spaghetti noodles

Brown the ground beef. Dump all the ingredients except for the noodles into the crockpot and leave it on low for at least 2-3 hours. You can leave the sauce in the crockpot all day if you want. The longer the sauce is in the pot, the better it tastes as all the flavors have time to ruminate. I make my sauce in the morning before work, and then when I get home, all I have to do is boil my noodles. If you like a little wine flavor, you can add 1/4 to 1/2 cup of red wine to the sauce.
