We coffee fanatics would like to salute those who paved the way over a thousand years ago! Okay, so I'm leaving out a few pieces to the puzzle. I blame it on the caffeine jitters!

Actually I just thought it was kind of cool that researchers have found that more than 1,000 years ago, ancient civilization were trading drinks containing caffeine among what is now modern-day Mexico and south and southwest portions of the current U.S.
