I remember playing football for a team when I was only 6 years old, putting on shoulder pads and a helmet for the very first time. It was a great feeling, and those memories of playing football will be ones I cherish for the rest of my life. It's amazing how many life lessons you learn on the football field that truly carry with you throughout the rest of your life.

Obviously, being a coach is time consuming but the feeling you get from helping these kids learn about the sport and just life in general is a great feeling. Playing football is a tough subject right now as we are learning more about concussions in sports. Having played organized football for most of my school years, it helped making friends and having a social life. I would suggest it.
