It's the 11th annual Clark Fork River Clean Up on Saturday. Hosted by the Clark Fork Coalition. The clean up begins with a volunteer check-in at 9:30a at Caras Park in downtown Missoula, from 10a until noon, volunteers will fan out on foot and in boats across 15 miles of riverbank in and around Missoulato collect trash and recyclables. Gloves, bags, and bus transportation are provided free of charge to all volunteers. Participants are then encouraged to return to Caras Park for a free barbecue, "trash awards ceremony", and community celebration from noon to 2p.
