River levels are way up in Missoula now. The California Street Footbridge pilings are now about a foot deep in water. Brennan’s Wave is pretty much a flat spot and the Clark Fork is running from bank to bank all the way through the city. All the islands are inundated. Forecasters say there is some lowland flooding above Missoula and over into the Deer Lodge Valley. Cooler days and nights are expected which could keep things from getting much worse.
