University of Montana Dining will host the 16th annual Great UM Christmas Cookie Cook-Off. The tasty event is this Friday, December 13th. This year's theme is "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. I like where this is going. UM students, employees and their families are invited to join UM Dining as they spread holiday cheer by baking and decorating cookies. Guests may bring home up to half the cookies they bake. The other half will be donated by to local youth homes, group shelters and other nonprofit organizations.

The event is open to faculty and staff with an active Griz Card, their families and friends. That opens the participation door pretty wide. So join them Friday, 2:00-6:00 p.m. in the Lommasson Center's Food Zoo Dining Room. If you'd like to know more you can contact Jerry O'Malley, creative director of marketing at UM Dining, 243-6433.
