Like lots of you, I really really like hot, spicy food. But not to where I need a hazmat team!Associated Press reports that in Las Cruces NM, a cloud of chile powder was so hot that a hazmat team was called to deal with it. Workers at an industrial park started experiencing irritated eyes, sore throats and bloody noses. Habanero chile particles got into a ventilation system. A company that grinds really hot chiles into powder is located in that industrial park, so there you go. They ended up treating 30 people at the site. Weird, I'm now in the mood for a Fiesta En Jalisco run! DB
