Cellphone Stops Bullet

No Way!!! This stuff happens in movies and TV crime shows only, right? Well, not according to Associated Press, who report a Winter Garden, Fla. gas station clerk was shot in his cellphone. It was in his pocket when a robbery occurred. The guys says he did not know the bullet had hit his phone until he took it out of his shirt pocket. Police say the bandit took off as he was fleeing the crime scene after station employees could not open the safe as the robber had demanded. I bet that’s one cellphone that won’t be donated for parts. I have to believe it will be placed in a very special place with a plaque. And I sure hope his carrier gave him a free upgrade! DB
