Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day

St. Patrick ’s Day promises to be filled with lots of different activities. Leading it all off will be the parade at noon. It starts the north end of Higgins. The Ancient Order of Hibernians has Jerry Lynch as Grand Marshall, Sheila Callahan as Irish Woman of the Year, and Max Murphy as Irish Man of the Year.

There will be free Carousel rides for kids from n2-4 in Caras Park.

The day wraps up with a dinner and silent auction at the Holiday Inn Parkside. It starts at 6PM. It’s a true family event with dancers, song  and music, storytelling, and socializing. The evening is a fundraiser for the Irish Studies Program. Everyone  is invited.
