River levels have dropped in Missoula in the past 24 hours. Checks at the California St. Footbridge and the McClay Bridge show the levels have gone down from 8”-12” at both locations. The color of the water has changed as well; it used to look like coffee with a lot of milk in it now it looks like milky green tea

Road crews have been working hard and fast to get a new surface laid down on South Avenue from Sentinel High School to Higgins Avenue. They've been going at a pretty good clip too. If the weather holds they could get it done by the end of this week or mid-week next week at the latest

A nesting pair of osprey has returned to the Dunrovin Ranch just outside of Lolo. In the past they had nested in a NW Energy power line pole but the company not long ago moved the nest to a safer spot on an unpowered pole in one of the Dunrovins corrals
The Western Montana Little Guy Wrestling Unit III and IV Inter Valley Wrestling Tournament was held Saturday at Frenchtown High School. Wrestlers competed for a qualifying spot for the Western State Competition. The top eight wrestlers in each weight and bracket moved on. Bonner School took home third place in the small school category. Unit I and II was held Saturday in Libby.
