Ready for a new summer-friendly tune to get you in the mood for the season? Rock band Train mixed up a few genres by recruiting rising country artist Cam and Gym Class Heroes frontman Travie McCoy for their new single "Call Me Sir."

"It's a true story and I love what these two bring to the song," notes Train leader Pat Monahan—who is quite the multifaceted musician in general, but in particular is no stranger to mixing it up with country gals (he's written and/or performed with Taylor Swift, Martina McBride, and Ashley Monroe).

Cam's part in the song is a cute verse adding to the overall theme of dating "out of one's league." As her verse goes, ""I ain't goin' nowhere unless he's there with me/ 'Cause I don't stand in line no more; admission's always free." (Monahan's note: "when I roll up with her, everybody calls me sir," gives the title to the song; McCoy goes over the top saying his girl puts him at the "top of the A-list.")

Listen to the song above and see if it's just right for your summer playlist!

Cam recently wrapped up her 2018 Listening Room Series Tour, which saw her performing up close for her fans in a string of intimate venues.
