Missoula Police made three arrests at the same location Sunday night. According to Police Public Information Officer Travis Welsh, a call came in around 11:00 P.M. warning police of drug activity in the area.

"It was at a residence in the 1300 block of East Broadway. They made contact with a male at the front door, meanwhile an adult female female attempted to run out the back of the residence where she was intercepted by another officer who was at the rear. The female was taken into custody after a brief struggle, she was identified as 25-year-old Ronnie Cahoon."

Cahoon has been in trouble with drugs before, and is now facing nine separate charges, many of them for failing to appear in court. Welsh says she not only attempted to flee the back door, but tried to pull free from the officer when caught.

"Mrs. Cahoon was arrested for outstanding warrants as well as Obstructing a Peace Officer, Resisting Arrest and Felony possession of dangerous drugs, which subsequently turned out to be methamphetamine," Welsh said. "There was another Male in the home that was arrested for outstanding warrants: John Akers, however not everybody inside the home was subject to arrest."

Police also arrested 28-year-old Barbara Sue Brown who cited for a pretrial violation as well as Obstructing a Peace Officer. Apparently, she tried to prevent officers from detaining Cahoon when she fled to the back door.
